Swine Influenza H1N1       Currently in the news one of the most dangerous influenza virus's on the earth at this time is the Swine Flu virus (Swine H1N1).  It is dangerous for many reasons.  Don't think that we are out of the woods yet, the H1N1 Swine Virus continues to spread, especially on the Northern Hemisphere.  The United States count is up over 950 possibles and Mexico has swelled to over 1100 cases in a week.  The problem will continue in the coming weeks, and may spread full force to the Southern Hemisphere for the arrival of their flu season.  WHO may raise the alert level to 6.  Airports and Schools are being decontaminated and some schools closed.    China and the rest of Asia is now screenings passengers for the Swine Flu H1N1.  Alarmed by the deaths in Mexico, the US is shipping tons of flu treatments to Mexico in a continued effort to halt or at least slow the spread of the virus.

We will continue to provide day to day coverage and to find info on how to prepare yourself and your family for a possible pandemic of H1N1 Swine Flu here  Also for more information you can take a look at our news section.  We will be maintaining two websites with H1N1 Info.  Please submit comments when you have heard of a case in your neighborhood.

Precautions:  Wash hands, stay away from anyone who is sick.  Tell your school administrators to screen children and send home sick children.  Cook pork over 165 degrees in order to kill the H1N1 virus.  If there is a breakout in your area, stay home from work and keep the kids home from school.  That is only if the Swine flu breaks out in your area.

We are hearing rumours that the stock markets are falling on word of the Swine Flu H1N1.

I will continue doing  research and following the movement of this emergency epidemic or pandemic.  H1N1 Swine Flu is recombining with Humans and it seems to be a world wide phenomena.    I will be listing some of the well known facts about the spread and control of the virus.  Please See and UPDATED Chart at This Website  from Dr.   Niman and his colleges     Avoid contact with dead birds and dead swine if you happen to live in a rural area.  Also, use common sense by avoiding contact with persons who are sick at this time.   Although the CDC seems to be on it and control centers around the world are watching the potential spread of this form of Swine Flu, there are currently no vaccinations that will help you.   When in public places and even at home wash your hands often with soap and warm water.  Also, make sure that the administration at your current school is aware of the potential for spreading of this fatal Influenza strain.  Symptoms  are like the flu but include more vomiting and diarrhea.  The current death toll from Swine Flu is over 100, and there is talk that passengers on International flights may be quarantined by international governments from around the world to prevent the spread of Swine H1N1.

I will report more as more news breaks on Swine Flu H1N1.
